About me
As a Senior at the University of Massachusetts Stockbridge School of Agriculture I participated in a senior capstone project. The course presents research projects at the Commonwealth Honors College Undergraduate Research Fair held annually UMass. My advisor for the project has been John Gerber, a wonderful professor here at the Stockbridge School of Agriculture School of Agriculture. I decided to research how to conserve native plant species in the Pioneer Valley to benefit pollinators because I have had the opportunity to at a Tropical Bee Research Center (CINAT) in Heredia, Costa Rica and since have at a fascination with all things related to bees. Bees have also recently taken a spotlight because their populations are decreasing and I felt it would be great to put together a resource.
